Our Mission and Our Lodge
The Ceres Masonic Lodge received it’s Charter, and was formed, in the City of Ceres in 1922. The present Master of the Lodge is Guy Sisco. We are known as Smyrna Masonic Lodge no 532, and are located at 2904 3rd Street in Ceres, California, 95307.
During our early years, we added an Eastern Star Chapter, which is no 296. The Eastern Star Chapter is composed of women who have affiliations with members of the Masonic Lodge.
The Ceres Masonic Center is also home to a local group of Job’s Daughters International, which is Bethel No. 171. Job’s Daughters is an organization for young women between the ages of 10 and 20 that provide a safe place for girls to have fun, learn leadership skills, work on philanthropic projects and be an active part of their community.
The Chapters of the Ceres Masonic Center are very active in the City of Ceres. We participate in the Ceres Relay for Life. We participate in many activities at area schools, and award Scholarships and cash rewards for essays. We also participate in Raise A Reader, where members go into the classrooms to read to the students.
The Ceres Masonic Center Chapters put on Child ID programs, where parents/guardians of children may bring their children, and get a Child ID kit for them.
